Our compassionate, family-oriented Mental Health and substance use disorder treatment facility seeks an full-time Masters Level Primary Therapist to join our team.

A proven self-starter who can come in and hit the ground running, bringing fresh ideas to motivate and engage clients in early recovery.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Position reports to: Clinical Director

Skills and Requirements:

• Master's Degree
• Proven clinical experience
• Valid & Current RMHCI, LMHC license, preferred
• Performs individual and group therapy and carries a caseload of up to 15 clients
• Performs biopsychosocial assessments, trauma assessments and suicide risk assessments; creates individualized treatment plans and conducts treatment plan reviews; writes daily group notes, weekly individual progress notes and transfer/discharge summaries all completed in a timely manner to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and in-house clinical guidelines. (**Please be prepared to discuss clinical notes and treatment plans during your interview.)
• Provides couples counseling and/or family therapy sessions weekly via telephone or in person
• Provides crisis counseling while blocking potential AMA discharges
• Attends daily staff meetings and weekly clinical group supervision meetings
• Strong documentation skills
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Experience with EMR's - Kipu software experience, preferred.
