Danish Care Center - a skilled nursing facility in Atascadero - is seeking a new member of our team to serve as our Central Supply Coordinator.

Job Description
As central supply coordinator, you will be in charge of ordering and inventorying all nursing supplies within the facility and equipment in an efficient manner following various guidelines and regulations, while following budgeting restrictions. You will be responsible for controlling and tracking direct spending and labor budgets. You must be available when orders are delivered to review packing slips. Must follow up on back orders and ensuring credits have been received. Must observe Infection Control Standards as required. Must maintain an excellent working report with all departments and vendor representatives. You will be responsible to maintain all central supply charge sheets and reports as required. Must ensure that all systems, policy, and procedure remain in place (full compliance).
This is a full time, Monday through Friday, hourly position

Requirements
Our ideal candidate for the Central Supply Coordinator position
· Must have a high school diploma
· Possess good communication and teamwork skills
· Preferred experience in health care setting, purchasing and budgeting central supplies.
· Must have computer experience in Excel and Microsoft word
· Enjoy working with senior citizens
· Be attentive to detail
· Must be able to work individually
