Job Summary

Looking for an opportunity to work for one of the world’s largest food service companies and influence a Fortune 5 tech company’s food program? The Operations Support Manager position, reporting in to the Head of Strategic Projects for North America, will empower and align teams with the knowledge, tools and processes needed to deliver a "Best in Class" food program for a Fortune 5 tech company. This Operations Support Manager role offers an outstanding opportunity to drive impactful enterprise-wide business initiatives with a Top 5 tech partner. Specifically, the Operations Support Manager will lead operational and project initiatives touching any combination of food service, enterprise-wide process change and/or large scale solution delivery across 100 campuses throughout the country. Each initiative is carefully selected to achieve a significant return for our clients and the company. A successful candidate will lead the complete life cycle of key initiatives and drive vital change throughout.

  • Bridge communication and streamline execution of deliverables between the Strategic Projects and Operations departments
  • Initiate processes and ensure proper workflow throughout the full lifecycle of operational and project initiatives
  • Create learning and development solutions (e.g. job aids, peer to peer knowledge sharing, skill/competency checkpoints) to ensure ongoing learning and development needs of employees and leaders are met
  • Organize, coordinate, deliver and facilitate key learning and development courses and/or train the trainer sessions for critical initiatives 
  • Document and analyze information and processes to solve critical business issues
  • Proactively communicate details across all levels of the organization and across multiple departments in a clear and concise manner
  • Build internal and external business relationships vital to the success of the portfolio
  • Resolve and/or advance issues in a timely fashion
  • Identify, assess and minimize risks throughout operational and project initiatives
  • Create and maintain documentation pertinent to the process, project or initiative including but not limited to, meeting notes, status reports, work plans, presentations
  • Understand team dynamics and adapt management methodology as needed to ensure success
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change; identify flaws in logic or assumption errors
  • Improve department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to contribute to job accomplishments 
  • Update job knowledge by participating in informative opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Course work in business administration or communications desired
  • A minimum of 6 years of work experience
  • A minimum of 2 years managing operations support
  • A minimum of 2 years in the learning and development space ideally having      experience with curriculum design and facilitation
  • Proven track record to define and implement change strategies
  • Proven ability to influence and manage external resources in a highly matrix’d environment
  • Proven ability to address opposing priorities within a single project with a positive, can-do demeanor
  • Proven business analytical capabilities to solve sophisticated business issues
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills needed to connect with all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/project management programs (Smartsheet)
  • Travel as needed (less than 25%)
