The role of Premium Specialist is managing suite catering orders for our guests, and curating exception customer experiences, while developing strong relationships with our Client Partners. Partnering with location leaders to deliver value through excellent guest service and sales activity, and providing expert support to our management teams at our sports and entertainment venues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform financial, operational, information technology, and compliance internal audits.
- Perform audit procedures to verify that controls are operating effectively through appropriate testing procedures, as well as to identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Supporting the development of audit standards and approach, partnering with key stakeholders on content and strategy
- Managing audits with a collaborative tone and ensuring a constructive environment is maintained between the audit team and location managers
- Audits executed and completed timely and in an accurate and consistent way
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of all audit reports
- The quality and timeliness of audit reports, written and verbal communications / status updates around process and control deficiencies, recommendations and corrective actions with local management and the audit team
- Manage the post audit follow-up as needed
- Partner with Compass peers to identify emerging trends and areas for collaboration and best practice sharing
- As required, managing the delivery special projects and initiatives
- Communicating and developing audit standards
- Contribute, as appropriate, in the year-end financial audit with the external auditor
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in external/internal auditing or accounting/finance with a public accounting firm or publicly-traded company or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business related major (accountancy, finance, business administration, management information systems, etc)
- Professional certification a plus (i.e., CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE)
- Self-Starter and ability to work independently
- Excellent project management and communications skills (oral and written)
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines on assignments.
- Working level negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of management.
- Desire and ability to travel domestically; estimated at 50%
