Job Summary
E15 is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual committed to delivering scalable business intelligence products to tackle our clients’ and operators’ most pressing business challenges. This role will focus on partnering with stakeholders to understand business requirements and leading a team to translate requirements into data visualization products. Success as a Manager on our Business Intelligence team requires a combination of analytical, client-oriented, and team management skillsets, as well as an understanding of data visualization best practices. The ideal candidate has previous experience with leading a team, agile project management, and gathering business requirements through stakeholder interviews. Additionally, this role requires a person who can learn, adapt, problem-solve, and communicate at a very high level.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of business intelligence professionals working to build reporting solutions for Compass Group
- Create partnerships with Compass Group executives and operators to understand their business and identify opportunities to meet their data analytics and reporting needs
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to develop solutions
- Proactively identify and remove obstacles to meeting project timelines set with stakeholders
- Develop validation and review protocols to ensure accuracy and quality of final deliverables
- Prioritize multiple competing requests in a fast-paced environment
- Guide and assist team members with professional development and career goals
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 3-5 years of Business Intelligence or Business Analytics experience, preferably in a client-facing role
- 2 years of experience directly managing a team
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
- Excellent client management skills, including communication, expectation setting, and prioritization
- Exceptional knowledge of data visualization best practices and trends
- Experience presenting to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with financial and labor analytics a plus
- Experience with foodservice operations a plus
- Experience with agile and scrum methodologies a plus
