CompassCare is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. Hourly Day, Overnight, and Live-in positions are available in Fairfield County, Westchester County, Manhattan, and Queens.

What do our Caregivers do?

Caregivers are the heart of the services which we provide for our clients. They work directly with our clients, providing care for all their needs, and most importantly building a strong relationship with the client. We expect our caregivers to empower independence in their client, help to improve the client's lifestyle, complete the tasks within the CarePlan, and work in partnership with the CompassCare Care Team and Office staff to provide the best possible care for each client. 

What we look for in our Caregivers... 

  • HHA/CNA/LPN Certification required (if not actively certified, must be willing to be certified within 6 months of hire date)
  • Minimum one year experience as a caregiver 
  • Experience working with clients with Dementia or Alzheimer's Disease 
  • Must be professional, proactive, patient and positive 
  • Must have strong communication skills and excellent customer service skills 
  • COVID-19 vaccination required 

About CompassCare… 

CompassCare is a private duty home care company which specializes in concierge services. This means we work one on one with older adults in the privacy of their home, and we support them with all their needs including personal care, activities of daily living, light housekeeping, household management, and much more. When our clients have specific needs or requests, we find a way to make sure we deliver. We aim to delight our clients every time! 

**Hourly rates vary by client, and there is a possibility of rates as low as $16/hour.
