Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources to join our team on site to provide executive level leadership and guidance as we develop a best-in-class culture where our focus is on promoting high-performance, open communications, and inclusiveness.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define, develop, and lead the human resources team to execute overall company strategy.
  • Proactively coach and empower managers to positively influence and impact workplace culture in alignment with Company values.
  • Provide guidance as a trusted advisor to senior leaders to help develop high-performing teams.
  • Develop and lead change management initiatives and communications that articulate a clear, compelling company vision and values.
  • Act as thought leader by applying disciplined knowledge to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Identify and implement innovative strategies and technologies to support achievement of the company’s priorities and maximize efficiencies.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness through organization design, job design, professional development, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement training and development initiatives to address current capabilities and future training needs, including on-the-job operational training, departmental training and leadership development.
  • Develop and implement process to identify internal and external candidates for key opportunities to achieve near and long-term talent strategies and workforce development goals.
  • Develop and implement procedures that ensures adherence to regulations and policies relating to occupational health, safety, and facility security.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • MBA, Master’s degree in a related field, or coursework towards an advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a human resources leadership position required.
  • PHR, SPHR, and/or SHRM CP/SCP certification or work towards this preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely proficient in MS Office and virtual meeting applications. Adept at quickly mastering new systems and technology.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, motivated, meticulous, practical and flexible. Able to effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities and maintain professional composure.
  • Able to innovate and challenge current norms to drive change in the organization and work with people at various organizational levels.
  • Reputation for being a process-driver and thought leader, leveraging efficiencies in the use of technologies, workflows, and processes.
