Job Purpose:

Maintains information technology strategies by managing staff, researching and implementing technological strategic solutions. IT managers are responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities in an organization. They help determine the IT needs of an organization and are responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.

• Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.

• Creates IT system architecture concepts, including planning hardware, software and connective infrastructure for computer systems and networks.

• Demonstrate expert knowledge in multiple technical and business functional areas, as well as performing a larger leadership role in the organization.
• Applies broad in-depth technical knowledge to establish technical direction and priorities.
• Resolves and works on issues across multiple functional areas.
• Effectively monitors and takes action to ensure coordination and effectiveness of all components and activities and decides on issues requiring escalation.
• Understands the system flow for a project throughout an entire workflow.
• Proven track record of developing, implementing, and maintaining large Media and Post Production technologies
• Well versed with Licenseing platforms and implementation, license management
• Conduct system audits of technologies implemented.
• Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, or related field.
• 10-12 years working experience in maintaining servers, network switches, computer hardware and software.
• Prior experience in Media Entertainment and postproduction is preferred.
• 5 years of experience as leading global IT department.
• Proficient in software API design and access control as well as automation for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and monitoring with technologies such as Splunk, Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana, Ganglia, Nagios, Jenkins and Ngnix
• Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MSCE) and VMware Certifications VCP-DCV and/or VCAP-DCA, AWS and/or CCNA are preferred qualification
• Linux hands on experience 5 years (Centos, RHEL, Ubuntu Linux). RHCE Certified preferred.
• Hands on Experience with Windows Active Directory Installations, Configuration and Management.
• Well versed with all aspect of Active Directory, User/Group Management, Group Policy Management, Global AD Deployments etc.
• Advance knowledge of Windows File Permissions and Deployment.
• Hands on experience with Symantec End Point Administration, Comm Voult and other Backup Utility administrations, Email server managements, WDS Administrations, WSUS updates and administrations.
• Knowledge of Isilon, HP, Hitachi NAS or SAN Storages Administrations would be plus.
• Strong Knowledge of Datacenter Operations, Virtualizations and Network Infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with VMware administration and configuration – VMware vSphere [5.5], VMware ESX(i) Server, VMware vCenter, VMware vMotion and other Vmware product.
• Expert level in GPO, Login Script, DHCP, DNS, AD/LDAP, WDS system integration.
• Intermediate level in windows shell scripting and python.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
