Community Mental Health Center, Inc. is Hiring a HR Specialist Near Lawrenceburg, IN

Position Responsibilities: The HR Specialist/Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. This position will maintain a cohesive and positive relationship with all management and staff regarding HR related issues.

Qualifications: A minimum of an associate degree in Human Resources preferred. Must have excellent organizational skills, communication skills (verbally and orally), and extensive computer knowledge.

Day-to-Day Expectations:

  • Processes internal employee changes (increase/decrease of hours, promotions, demotions, disciplinary actions, bonuses, terminations, etc.)
  • Coordinates staff performance evaluation procedures and ensures quality and timeliness of completed documentation.
  • Initiates and ensures staff complete required training, certifications, licensure, etc.
  • Assists the HR Director with updating HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Regularly audits HR files for required documentation.
  • Maintains and audits the Centers web-based training system.
  • Assists with updating job descriptions and performance evaluations.
