Description
The Medical Technologist is responsible for analysis, evaluation and reporting of laboratory test results in accordance with established departmental procedures and professional standards, to provide accurate data in a timely manner, for use in diagnosis and treatment of patients.
This position is part time night 10pm to 6:30am with rotating weekends and holidays
Requirements
One of the following qualifications must be met.
1. Bachelor’s degree in medical technology from an accredited college or university.
2. Bachelor’s degree in one of the following; chemical, physical or biological sciences and in addition has at least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training or both in the specialty or sub specialty in which the individual performs test.
3. Associate Science in Medical Technology; and 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
Experience:
Two years of clinical laboratory experience preferred
