Community Dental Partners is Hiring a Payroll Manager Near Denton, TX

Payroll Manager

Reports to: Kathy Stump
Key Partnerships: Human Resources, Marketing, Clinical, Procurement, Support Center.
Department: Operations

Salary: 95K DOE

Classification: Except

About this role:
The Payroll Manager will oversee and supervise the organizations payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
-Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
-Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
-Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
-Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
-Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
-Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.

This individual will manage:

- biweekly employee payroll

- bimonthly doctor pay
-Including communication to doctors regarding paid amounts and distribution of pay calculation to doctors.
-Tracking of additions to doctor pay for items like Tesla Pay, Student Loan program, referral bonuses, special travel agreements, differing pay rates per location
-Will be responsible for reconciling the employee benefit bills to employee benefit withholding in payroll and for submitting an expense allocation of bill to AP for payment of employee benefit bills to be paid monthly.
-Posting of employee payroll and doctor pay into Sage Intacct
-Notifying Treasury of UKG funding amounts each payroll and allocation of transfer of funds from practice bank accounts.
-Manage employee expense reimbursements submitted, approved and paid.
-Including proper coding of expense to general ledger posting.
-Communication with managers in practice locations regarding timecards, approvals and expense reimbursement.
-Responsible for proper reporting of quarterly and annual tax filings for payroll entities.
-Responsible for working with Legal team
-Controller and outside accounting firm to set up state payroll registrations and accounts as employees are hired in new states.

Basic Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with payroll software.
