This is a full-time opportunity at our Bishops Woods site. Financial Planning Analyst Job Responsibilities: Assists Director of Financial Planning interact with company-wide managers and directors to formulate department budgets. Extensive use of Microsoft Excel and specialized budgeting software with budgets, projections, applications and special projects. Perform monthly/quarterly analysis of financial statements- Balance Sheets, P&L's, Cash Flows. Review and recommend intercompany allocation methods. Work with site managers, and operational leaders to research and resolve accounting/payroll discrepancies. Provides cost analysis for member service or other operational costs and present results. Review and recommends intercompany allocation methods. Performs monthly encounter data financial reconciliations and prices internally provided services. Performs an analysis of monthly encounter data to identify the variance in cost in encounter data from cost in General Ledger. Identify encounters which were reported by internal providers but not submitted to DHS. Identify encounters which were reported by internal providers but not submitted to DHS. Prepare monthly/quarterly State reports; and quarterly and annual National Association of Insurance Commissioners Orange Blank reports. Extensive use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and specialized statutory reporting software.Analyzes periodic budget actual variance reports. Identify and investigate variances between actual and budgeted amounts/numbers. Also identify and investigate significant variance between current and last year's actuals.Assists staff in analyzing and interpreting financial and statistical reports.Serves as liaison to external financial auditors, outside service providers and entities with whom Community Care partners, networks, or consults. Work with the accounting department to accommodate organizational changes and financial statement analysis. Work with company-wide department managers and directors to address their financial questions or concerns. Performs independent analysis, creates and recommends system modifications in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Financial Planning Analyst Job Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Mathematics required. Master's in Finance preferred.Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an analysis or cost accounting role required. Business analyst or project management experience is strongly preferred. License/Certification: CPA preferred.Travel: Occasional local travel, requiring use of personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of required insurance coverage. Financial Planning Analyst Job Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 40 hours a weekNo nights, weekends, or holidays requiredCommunity Care Community Care is a local nonprofit with more than 40 years of experience helping older adults and adults with disabilities live as independently as possible within the community.
