Our Rheumatology office is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team! The hours are: Monday - Friday; 7:30AM - 4:00PM.
** This position is eligible for up to a $1,000 recruitment and retention bonus!!**
Responsibilities:
Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
Float within the office when necessary to assist with administrative/clerical positions such as phones and scheduling.
Maintain timely patient flow.
Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous medical/clinical experience preferred.
Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
Ability to use interpersonal skills to establish/maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, members, physicians/providers, managers, co-workers, and external customers.
Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
Experience with Allscripts is a plus!
