As a Tissue Recovery Coordinator, you would lead the surgical team in the process of recovering human donated tissue. These tissue grafts are used by hospitals and surgical centers across the country. Through transplantation, these donated tissue grafts enhance and save the lives of others. An extensive on the job training program is provided.
Tissue Recovery Coordinator
The Tissue Recovery Coordinator serves as team leader of the recovery team, coordinating and participating in the surgical recovery of tissue for transplant, and works to educate medical professionals and the public on tissue banking process and the importance of donation.
