Job Description

Community Access Unlimited is looking for a Full Time Director of Quality Assurance. The main responsibility will be to coordinate audits, quality programming and ensure the integrity of Agency services and support/treatment plans primarily in those programs serving adults with developmental disabilities and at-risk youth. Bachelor’s degree required with prior administrative/supervisory experience. Quality Assurance, DCP&P, Investigation and/or Support Plan/Treatment Plan experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, schedules and conducts sample quality review audits, to include various file/office/Carelogic and HRST audits to assist with tracking.
• Complete PSR assistance/fidelity checks bi-weekly through a rotating list of CAU programs.
• Leads Investigations as the need arises. Conducts required interviews of staff/members and prepares report.
• Monitors and updates various policies, procedures, systems and forms as needed by CAU.
• Assists with preparing the sites for licensing annually and the main office/sites with CARF as needed/assigned.
• Coordinates committee meetings as assigned for QA and actively participates in other various committee meetings, trainings and in supervisions.
• Identify trends and make quality improvement suggestions at the various committee meetings. Assist with trend corrections.
• Facilitate Trainings as assigned by Community Access Unlimited.
• Participate in outside trainings/meetings as needed for further understanding of the State’s/DDD’s updated regulations and expectations.
• Continues with QA duties in regards to supervising support plan specialists and guiding support plan/treatment plans /IDT completion, assisting the team when needed with meeting coverage etc.
• Prepares a monthly summary report along with queries, interprets data and makes recommendations to program supervisors for upgrading and maintaining quality at the sites as requested.
