Our company is seeking an experienced Head Chef with a passion for preparing exquisite food and the ability to transfer their skills to the next generation of Chefs. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing new recipes, overseeing the rest of our kitchen staff and ensuring the overall success of our organization. This position requires someone who has experience working in a busy environment, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Expectations for Qualified Candidates:
- Developing unique and cuisine-appropriate menus
- Collaborating with the General Manager to set menu prices
- Staying current on developing trends in the restaurant industry
- Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
- Monitoring inventory and purchasing supplies
- Hiring, training and supervising kitchen staff
- Assisting and directing kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating and delivery
- Identifying and introducing new culinary techniques
- Preparing meals and completing prep support as needed

Pay: $57,500.00 - $61,000.00 per year
