Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for the month end closing process, preparing board financial statements, and researching variances. The Financial Reporting Manager is also responsible for quarterly board Finance Committee liquidity, investment and interest rate risk reports, earning release tables and narrative for the earning release. Also responsible for preparing quarterly GAAP financial statements, Rule 144 disclosures and the annual financial statements, including footnotes. The Financial Reporting Manager will have three direct reports, the Senior Financial Accountant and two Staff Accountants.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in bank accounting, finance and systems

• BA or MBA preferred

• Previous experience as an assistant controller or accounting manager of a bank preferred

• Strong knowledge of bank regulatory issues and experience with such agencies as Federal Reserve Bank, Department of Business Oversight and the FDIC

• Leadership and management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Team player and self-starter

• Requires the ability to be flexible and work independently

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Presents professional image and works well in a team environment
