Description

Position: Human Resources Administrator

Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Company Description: Dotcom Distribution is a third-party fulfillment and logistics company in Edison, NJ. Our clients represent a cross-section of some of the country’s fastest growing Internet and Retail brands.

Job Description Summary: The HR Administrator will provide HR leadership and support in functional areas including labor management, recruitment, performance management, development and training, compensation, benefits, employee relations and other related HR activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with supervisors and managers to foster an engaged work force through reward and recognition programs.
  • Maintain employee vital files up to date. 
  • Facilitate training and development at all levels on business and HR issues and practices.
  • Manage recruiting-related activities through Paylocity and new hire processing including job posting
  • Partner with management to conduct phone screening and schedule interviews. 
  • Represent both employee and management interests by partnering with each to address needs, concerns and expectations; effectively resolve issues and maintain or enhance productivity. 
  • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. 
  • Oversee the All-Star programs and assist with the facilitation of the Aspire program
  • Help assist and develop Temporary contracted personnel to become a Dotcom associate.
  • Arrange and manage monthly on-site and off-site job fairs to close the gap on recruiting needs.
  • Assists Training Manager with design and administration of training programs to all levels of employees. 
  • Oversee worker’s comp process; review best practices, follow up with open claims, partner with Operations to implement safety procedures.
  • Assist the Finance department by auditing NOVAtime daily for missed punches, tardiness, and issue any disciplinary actions as necessary
  • Keep Candidate tracker and HR related spreadsheets updated on a weekly basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior or executive management

Requirements

 Qualifications / Requirements

  • At least 3 -5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, or Operations environment.
  • Should be able to work independently and with minimal supervision 
  • Previous HR Business experience is essential for this role. 
  • Individual must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication (oral and written) and consulting skills required. 
  • Demonstrated expertise of HR processes and practices (i.e., employee relations, recruitment, organization development/training, compensation), 
  • Ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels within the organization, 
  • Ability to work through complex business issues 
  • Computer proficiency in Word and Excel is required. 
  • Bilingual English/Spanish – ability to communicate fluently and translate documents from English to Spanish
