Columbine Country Club is hiring Banquet Housepersons. In this position, you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of any banquet rooms, hallways, storage and service areas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Storing and maintaining banquet supplies such as linens, chairs, china, glassware, flatware and decorations.

Setting up the banquet rooms per the specification of a banquet events order.

Resetting the room for upcoming functions after the event has concluded.

During the event, duties include assisting servers, transporting tables and equipment, bussing tables and service areas.

Reporting maintenance issues to management.

Providing requested information to banquet patrons.

Additional Duties

You may be asked by management to engage in duties that are related to your position even though they are not routine. These may include:

Helping assemble temporary dance floors, tents, podiums and other structures.

Assisting audio-visual personnel in setting up equipment like speakers and monitors.

Helping transport food, beverages, decorations and equipment to event spaces outside of the clubhouse.

Requirements

Basic math and language skills, including the ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).

Multitasking, reasoning, problem-solving, and paying attention to detail are desirable.

Ability to maintain poise in fast-paced, high-stress situations.

You should have strong people skills and a yearning to please your customers.

Physical requirements include lots of bending, standing, and walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
