Colony Display LLC is Hiring a Remote Director of Business Development

Description

Colony Display, LLC, based in Bartlett, Illinois, is an industry leader in the design engineering, and manufacturing of customer visual merchandising solutions and display. Our team is growing, and we are in search of a Director of Business Development to lead customer acquisition efforts. This role will be responsible for securing new business across the retail industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Business Development team responsible for securing new business across the retail sector
  • Ensure the company meets revenue targets through market research and identifying new opportunities for sales growth
  • Develop existing business, ensuring best practices are created and adhered to
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and execute branding initiatives around new product launches
  • Provide training and mentoring to team members to ensure best practices and adherence to policies
  • Track expenses and maintain the sales budget and forecast sales revenues
  • Diversify the company’s customer portfolio by emerging into additional industries with thoughtful planning and successful execution of strategic plan
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, conference, and other networking venues
  • Continuous management and oversite over current projects with emphasis on cross functional leadership abilities

These are illustrative duties, and the job holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work to enable the department to respond effectively to the requirements of the Company.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of business development experience with the retailer industry
  • 3 to 5 years of proven and successful management experience
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Knowledge in the retail industry
  • Experienced storyteller to create and enhance the customer’s vision
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and other software suites
  • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred
