In the Talent Acquisition Coordinator position, you will provide administrative support to the Recruiting Team and be a key contributor to ensuring the recruiting process runs smoothly. Your goal will be to assist in every step of the talent acquisition process and take on responsibilities that will help attract applicants, improve, and maintain recruiting best practices, and contribute to providing our candidates and hiring managers with an overall positive experience. JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES Coordinate and schedule phone screens, interviews, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding events. Create and maintain Job Descriptions.Collaborate with Recruiters and Talent Acquisition Manager to review resumes, responding to internal and external recruiting related inquiries or requests, and provide assistance as needed.Design materials for incorporation into social media, as well as in communication campaigns for job postings, internal openings, and Recruiting events. Assist with identifying, completing registrations, socializing, and participating in hiring related events within the communities we serve. Redirect Talent Acquisition related calls and distribute correspondence to the appropriate person on the team. Create and maintain employee personnel files: accurately update, submit, review, and file company forms and documents, medical documents. Source, select, order, and maintain the inventory for the Recruiting team’s company merchandise. Process DOT and non-DOT job verification requests. Other tasks, projects, or assignments as requested by management. POSITION REQUIREMENTS 1 to 3 years of proven experience in an HR related field or entry level with additional specialized HR training, education, and/or certifications. BS/BA in Human Resources or business relevant field is strongly preferred; additional education or certification in HR related area is a plus. High level ability in using MS Office (Particularly MS Excel, Word and Power Point). Experience with HR databases, HRIS, or Applicant Tracking systems desired. Familiarity with leveraging social media for recruiting purposes. Knowledge of DOT regulations and DOT hiring best practices would be a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle data and day to day information in a professional confidential manner. Ability to work autonomously, energetically, and efficiently, to ensure the end-to-end running of Recruiting projects, through good organizational and time management skills.
