Build Your Career, Impact Your Community, Join Our Colonial FamilyThe Manager, IT Security will be responsible for the development and implementation of the information security risk management program. The position will support the design, build, and execution of risk management programs, including risk assessments, risk mitigation strategies, reporting, and monitoring. The position will also monitor and manage third party security risk as well as support security awareness activities. The role will focus on promoting and maintaining information security and IT compliance by partnering with various internal functions and external parties including third parties, vendors, external auditing or assessing partners. Responsibilities include design, implementation, and monitoring compliance to policies and procedures. JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES Lead the development and implementation of the system-wide risk management function of the information security program to ensure information security risks are identified and monitored.Internally assess, evaluate, and make recommendations to management regarding the adequacy of the security controls for the Colonial Group’s information and technology systems.Establish and execute processes to appropriately assess and manage third party security risk.Enhance and maintain information security policy and standards framework and documentation.Evaluate the compliance status of IT, product and Information Security controls and assist control owners to develop/use repeatable processes and procedures to remediate control gaps. Collect and report on remediation plans along with charting progress of open items to resolution.Provide insight, awareness, education on IT and Information Security compliance and risk to organizational management at varying levels and functions.Train IT staff and broader organization in new procedures and policies. Assist in promoting a culture of security within the company via innovative training and awareness methodologies.Improve/further develop IT and Information Security compliance processes using input from key stakeholders, internal policies and procedures, and external guidance. Bring standards-based perspective to influence compliance processes using past experiences and research of prevalent and applicable risks and regulations. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.7 years of overall experience in information technology.Prior information security, quality, risk management and/or audit experience preferred (4-7 years in comparable position or responsibilities) Related Certifications desired.Relevant Security Certifications Preferred (e.g. (CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISA, FAIR), preferred.Strong working knowledge, understanding and experience in building, maintaining, and maturing effective security Governance, Risk, and Compliance functions.Understanding of information security risk and compliance management procedures and methodologies. Experience leading and promoting risk discussions based on qualitative and quantitative data.Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT as well as those from NIST, including 800-53 and Cybersecurity Framework.
