Collins Aerospace is looking for an individual contributor manager who will support the FP&A team within the Propeller Systems business (U.S.). Within this role, the success candidate will be responsible for providing financial leadership, guidance, and analysis (on both a transactional and strategic level) during each month end closing, quarterly deliverables, LE and EAC processes, as well as support on various ad hoc projects for process improvements and analysis. This role will serve as a strategic business partner to the cross functional leadership team to help drive key business targets and initiatives with a focus on meeting the company’s financial commitments. This role will gain exposure to both OEM and Aftermarket business segments as well as Commercial and Military markets. Key business partners/customers will include but not be limited to Finance/Senior Leadership, Contracts, Supply Chain, Program Management Office, and Operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support monthly closing and LE process; forecasting impacts of operational and pricing changes through ad hoc modeling for the Propeller Systems Windsor Locks site
- Perform variance analysis and communicate results to finance, operational and contracts leadership teams
- Manage pricing information to ensure most accurate and timely information is utilized and shared.
- Provide ad hoc support, analysis and guidance to cross functional teams as required
- Drive process improvement projects and standard work documentation to streamline and create efficiencies
- Support the annual SOX Controls testing process for the Propellers Systems US organization
- Support and maintain a compliant and healthy controls environment; be the focal point to controls areas and questions and control enhancements within the Props US environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
- Prior financial experience in performing analysis & making business judgement decisions
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior financial experience in performing analysis & making business judgement decisions
- SAP knowledge
- Excellent Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Aerospace industry experience
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills
- Outstanding formal and informal presentation skills, must be comfortable interacting with customers and senior management
- Deliver presentations to Propeller Systems and/or Actuation Systems management and customers in support of pricing activities, and work with other Collins organizations on cross-functional process improvement teams that relate to the proposal process.

In compliance with Connecticut Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $89,000 – $189,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
