Colliers Engineering Design is Hiring a Project Surveyor Near Columbia, MD

Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a project Surveyor responsible for reviewing field data for completeness and preforming quality control checks.

Responsibilities

  • Assign, direct and monitor field and office staff on assigned projects.
  • Effective communication with team members and clients.
  • Produce high quality of work, meet schedules within budget, and provide responsive service to project managers within the company.

Qualifications

  • Experience adjusting field data in Trimble Business Center 
  • CST preferred 
  • Excellent technical and communication skills.
  • Candidates will self-perform office tasks in addition to managing CAD staff working on assigned projects. Must be proficient in Civil 3D and/or MicroStation. Experience processing/extraction of LiDAR/3D scan data a plus.
  • Familiarity with Leica scanners and software preferred
  • Must be skilled in managing multiple priorities of project managers and prioritizing work assignments.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record required. MVR will be checked and monitored.

Requires a pre-employment drug screen and will require ongoing participation in the employer's random drug and alcohol testing program.
