The Corporate Recruiter position is full cycle recruitment role that is responsible for working with hiring managers, of all levels, within Collegis Education to identify, source and recruit top talent for our organization. These roles span across the nation and primarily fall within marketing, information technology, admissions, sales, finance, and administration.

Areas of focus for the Corporate Recruiter will include candidate sourcing, pipeline management, interview coordination, vendor management, recruitment strategy, and candidate onboarding. This person will know how to leverage social media and new technologies, while understanding that personal connections and networks are still crucial to recruiting. 

This is a critical position for Collegis as it is responsible for identifying the top talent we require to meet and exceed the needs of our partners. Collegis is a rapidly growing organization that is change oriented and fast paced. The Corporate Recruiter must be a self-starter who has a successful track-record of screening and sourcing qualified candidates for a variety of positions. They must be an expert in building strong rapport and long-lasting relationships with candidates and hiring managers. This role will act as a hub for hiring within Collegis and will manage communication between department leaders, finance, legal, human resources, and external candidates.

Pipeline Management: 

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, screening and sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, pipeline updates with hiring managers, and applicant tracking (via Paylocity)
  • Build a candidate pipeline that provides a continual flow of candidates for all assigned searches (both proactive and reactive)
  • Manage the recruitment efforts for both permanent and contract employees to meet fluctuating business needs
  • Control and optimize recruiting expenses through vendor relations and contract management
  • Promote and drive the Employee Referral Process to internal employees
  • Promote diversity in the recruiting process
  • Thoughtfully execute, monitor, and refine the candidate experience from application to onboarding
  • Ensure that Collegis is anticipating candidates needs and are designing our interview process with their needs in mind
  • Source high potential (passive) candidates utilizing creative sourcing techniques
  • Understand social media vehicles to assist in marketing critical positions
  • Represent Collegis and promote our brand through planning and coordinating recruiting events and represent Collegis at events such as job fairs, colleges, and local community partnerships as needed
  • Use cultural assessment tools (Apogee, DiSC, Vantage, etc.) to understand candidate strengths and areas of focus

Market Awareness:

  • Engage in continuing education to ensure Collegis remains up to date on the latest recruitment strategies
  • Implements new recruitment strategies, as appropriate, to continue to improve Collegis’ recruitment efforts 
  • Stay current on market conditions and benchmark industry trends specifically surrounding recruitment strategies
  • Solidify external employment brand in the marketplace, promoting Collegis Education as an employer of choice
  • Commit to self-development (internal and external networking) - Application/training of knowledge gained through professional development 

Organizational Knowledge: 

  • Leverage analytics and best practices to build successful recruiting strategies
  • Partner with company leaders to understand current and anticipated needs as well as external and internal talent that can fill openings 
  • Educate leaders and employees to assist in development and compliance with required recruiting processes, policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain relationships with departmental leaders
  • Complete weekly communication updates to Human Capital leaders (Status Updates, Managerial Plans, etc.)
  • Know and understand the culture of Collegis and maintain ownership of ensuring we hire according to our values
  • Adhere to the appropriate information security policies based on the sensitivity of company data and report any security related issues

HR Projects: 

  • Partner with the Manager - Talent Acquisition to execute projects and initiatives within the Human Resources department. These projects span across training, development, culture drivers, benefit support, etc.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in employee recruitment within the staffing industry or in a corporate environment. Strong preference given to those with experience recruiting within the digital marketing / technology field.
  • Passion for building relationships with candidates and communicating the opportunities of working for our growing brand
  • Strong organizational skills and scheduling aptitude; Outlook experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Interest in the human resources field. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and develop creative solutions
  • Aptitude for negotiation and problem solving
  • Willingness to learn, be curious, and remain open to new challenges.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, asking questions, chasing down answers, and operating with minimal guidance to move work forward.
  • Good judgment, versatility, flexibility, and a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial and changing environment 
  • Ability to deliver and receive feedback, positive and constructive
  • Proven track record of increasing responsibility and success
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with internal and external resources in a matrixed organization
  • Willing to travel approximately 10%.

Education, Certifications and Licensures: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Communication, Human Resources or equivalent field is preferred
