SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Drive continuous improvement to systems and processes throughout the sales department as it relates to budgeting, forecasting, planning and field communications. Individual will serve as contact/liaison for customer(s) both internal and external. Performs a range of analysis to facilitate knowledge-based decision making, utilizing both internal and external sales data.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sales Related Functions and Forecasting
  1. Review weekly Top 20 promotion schedule
  2. Review Shift by SKU template with latest actual and forecasted sales for Purchasing and Production to use for scheduling and materials reorders. 
• Broker contact for all sales and administrative communications
• Manage the Sales Administrative staff to ensure they have the support and tools they need.
• Manage and monitor Promotional Planning
  • Enter and review annual promotion plans in MEI for upcoming years promotions 
  • Adjust forecast and promotions that are revised
  • Review updates from customers and broker for current contracts and revise in MEI as needed 
  • Process information required for check requests and provide it to A/P for processing 
  • Deduction Management – clearing all customer deductions based on plans created in MEI and obtaining required backup from applicable websites/resources. 
  • Broker Logs – create and monitor monthly broker logs with current/pending information to properly clear deductions 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or equivalent experience. 

Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel and all Office Tools are required.

Work experience should include a minimum of 2 years field sales and 2-year sales support/customer analytics.

Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral. 

Individual must be self-motivated and able to mulit-task.
