Job Summary

The Marketing Director forLegendary Companies is responsible for creating and overseeing the Marketingdepartment and strategies to drive growth within Digital platforms and content,Visual Communications, and Brand and Campaign Marketing, all while identifyingareas of improvement to increase brand awareness and market penetration. Theywill lead the Go-To-Market digital, media and advertising planning; includingbudgeting requirements, ROI, and KPI goals to ensure business objectives areachieved. The Marketing director ischarged with building and leading a best-in-class content and digital strategyand team, budget planning and prioritization, and continuous analysis of initiativesand effectiveness. This role will be focused on driving brand awareness,customer experience, and expanding brand andproduct presence through digital media, and direct-to-consumer sales withoutdisrupting the existing B2B strategies and long-term customer accounts.

Reports To: Vice President – Sales and Marketing

EssentialFunctions

·Overseerevolutionizing the Legendary digital customer experience, leading a modernconsumer-oriented organization and deploying cutting-edge marketing techniquesand tools.

·Oversee,build, and grow Digital (Web, Social, Email) platforms and deliver classleading content, team, and plan

·Marketing(Digital, Traditional, USPs), Go-To Market (GTM), and Strategic planning incoordinating with Executive, Sales, and product Management staff

·Ownthe direct to consumer ecommerce site(s), driving revenue andprofitability to the platform(s)

·BuildGTM plans and strategies for product launches, brand campaigns, and promotions

·Developand employ measures (ROI, KPI, Conversions, or otherwise) to evaluate andmonitor the success of the digital portfolio, marketing programs, activities,and make recommendations and changes accordingly to drive success

·Designand manage analytics and tagging to supports data capture, site analysis, andreporting for all Ecommerce initiatives.

·Plan,Manage, Review, Reconcile, and optimize marketing budget to strategicpriorities and cost constraints

·Maintainelectronic information (databases and spreadsheets) containing information andvital data to marketing and functions

·Planningand management of Digital and traditional marketing funnels, customer lifecycle

·Campaign,product, and company based marketing planning and coordination

·Ensuretone-of-voice, brand consistency (visual written) across products and brands.

·Championa culture based on data driven insights and recommendations.

·Developmarketing strategy and measurement systems, based on knowledge of policy,nature of market, copyright and royalty requirements, and cost and markupfactors.

·Manageand creation of a digital asset library

·Overseecorporate communications, PR

·Otherresponsibilities as assigned by Leadership

Key skills and competencies of theposition include, but are not limited to:

  • Understanding of business and profitability measurements and impacts as it applies to Marketing strategy
  • Strong project management skillset
  • Test-and-Iterate mindset
  • High level of analytical abilities as it applies to customer lifecycle, ROI, funnels, and digital metrics
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-up skills

Measurements of the role (Notlimited to):

  • Channel and platform growth (Reach, Engagement, Follower/Valid number)
  • ROI, CPM, ROAS, CTR, Cost-Per-Acquisition/Customer, and similar metrics of spend efficacy
  • Brand sentiment, message penetration into new markets, non-endemic reach

Supervisory Responsibilities:

·Role has direct supervisoryresponsibility for PR, Creative, and Digital teams and members

·Contractors and Agencies as needed

·Potentially indirect responsibilityleading a cross-functional team comprised of supply chain, sales, and marketingprofessionals

Professional Qualifications & Minimum Education Requirements

The candidatewill be a professional with significant experience in Marketing, ideallyDigital and Traditional and the Tire industry and/or Automotive Aftermarket.They must be able to understand the “art and science” behind marketing,messaging, and the digital landscape.

The successful candidate’squalifications will include:

·Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relatedfield required.

·A minimum of 2 years in the Tire and/or Automotive Industry

·4 years experience in Marketing Management and leading a team

·Experience managing a budget of >$1M annually

·Highly analytical mindset, with a thorough understanding of howMarketing drives value in quantifiable terms

·Fluency in digital tools, platforms, and measurements includingMagento

·Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point), specifically strong in Excel (PivotTables, Vlookups, etc)

Working Conditions

  • The position will be based in Chattanooga, TN, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Legendary Companies
  • There will be business travel associated with this position, which includes but is not limited to: intra-company travel; supplier visits; and vendor or trade show attendance
  • This job operates in both a professional office and warehouse/shop environment. The individual in this role will also perform some job duties outdoors. This role routinely uses standard office equipment
  • The individual in this position will spend several hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. Must be able to physically lift up to 50 lbs.
