About the role:

We are looking for a Field Engineer who wants to be part of a growing FinTech and use their technology skills and imagination to shake things up in the traditional financial business ecosystem by providing technical product support pre- and post-sale.

 The Field Engineer will serve as the subject matter expert and work directly with prospects/customers to present the technical capabilities, addressing technical architecture, integration approaches, security, data strategy, and participate in solution workshops.

• Act as the subject matter expert on the functional and technical aspects of our products
• Deliver standard and custom functional / technical demo support and messaging
• Oversee POV technical demo support
• Lead, drive, and execute technical support for complex prospect/customer evolutions
• Support RFX proposal process by researching and providing technical responses 
• Work directly with prospects and customers to deliver presentations, white board discussions and demonstrations, to determine how our solutions can meet their specific needs
• Travel when required, anticipate up to 10% of total time
• Other duties as assigned or required by management

What skills and attributes the candidate will need to get the job done…

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar program or 4 years of work experience
• Five (5) or more years’ experience in enterprise software applications 
• Cloud computing (Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD, and DevOps
• Java or C proficiency
• Strong and polished presentation skills with experience in complex sales situations and/or customer escalations
• Ability to self-manage and multi-task

Nice to Have…

• Five (5) years or more of experience as technology consultant, sales engineer, software engineer, or similar role
• Previous experience working directly with customers
• Business experience in Insurance/Financial Services
