We are very excited about our growth opportunities and are seeking a Paraprofessional with an entrepreneurial energy and commitment to client service to join our Tax Department in Youngstown, OH and work reoccurring client projects on one of our in largest clients, supporting our client engagement team! The client projects will require management and organization of notices, payments, and logs. This individual will be expected to communicate professionally to our internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Keeping track and assisting with client tax notices at a high volume
- Review of client accounts receivable processing and assisting with invoicing
- Collaborate with other paraprofessionals to support entire engagement team
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and other journal entries to help prepare financial statements
- Assist with following-up on various tax refunds on behalf of the client
- Handling a variety of one-off and recurring requests which may not be listed here
Qualifications
- Entry level position – some office experience preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Computer savvy – Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and Adobe PDF
- MUST be detail-oriented, well organized, and capable of self-reviewing work
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner – training will be provided
- Ability to work and communicate with professionals in other geographical locations
- Excellent people and communication skills with a team player attitude
