The Team: The ID Mobility team is responsible for providing handheld imaging solutions for use in the healthcare, aerospace, automotive, and logistic industries. These clients require handheld vision solutions to classify, inspect, and measure the items that they produce or utilize every day. The Role: Associate Software Quality Engineer We are seeking a talented Software Quality Engineer to join the team for both ID Mobility product lines. This individual will work as part of a small team to bring new products to market and will help to develop industry leading handheld vision solutions. In this role, you will develop, revise, and maintain test plans, manual and automated test cases to ensure a consistently high level of quality. Essential Functions: Contribute to test automation for multiple product lines. Create and execute test cases for manual and automated testing. Support the development team with feedback on usability of the software during the release. Identify software issues and work with the development to determine a root cause. Be an active member of a Scrum team. Assist in the development of a QA Testing Lab. Assist in specification testing for new product development. Essential Requirements: Experience with C and C programming languages. Knowledge and experience in software testing and test automation. Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills. Comfortable with multitasking and working in a highly dynamic environment. Ability to work cross functionally in a team. Acute attention to detail. Desirable Requirement: Understanding of machine vision. Experience working on Agile teams. Familiarity with Jira, Xray, and Confluence. Experience testing on iOS and Android, including manual and automated testing. Knowledge of factory protocols for ethernet communication with PLC. Familiarity with ISO standards and certifications. Minimum education and work experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Quality Assurance, or similar). 1 – 2 years of professional work experience, or no professional experience with related course work and internships For Colorado-based employment: The salary range for this position is $50,000-$95,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
