Our software development group supports the improvement and ongoing maintenance of numerous computer information systems at Cochrane & Company. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of assigned programs, ad-hoc data analysis, as well as assisting with the deployment and support of assigned programs.

 This position is a full-time position. Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. No contractors.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Develop and enhance business automation platforms using object-oriented programming languages and agile methodologies (scrum).

• Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and formulate action plans to correct or refer problems to appropriate personnel

• Analyze user stories to automate and improve existing systems

• Assist as needed to maintain and support our line of business applications

• Ability to learn technologies and tools in a self-directed manner utilizing self-study methods

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field

• Ability to constructively participate within an agile team by demonstrating excellent communication, collaboration, problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Knowledge of the following technologies:
  
  • C#
  • ASP.NET
  • SQL Server
  • XML/XSLT
  • N-Tier and Client/Server development models using SOAP, REST and XML services
  • Responsive web development models using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON
• 3 years of experience developing applications as a member of a team strongly preferred.
