Coastal1 Credit Union is Hiring a Business Analyst Near Pawtucket, RI

Coastal1 Credit Union has a position for a Business Analyst supporting our IT department by performing detailed requirement analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role, you must have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluating business processes, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing recommendations for business solutions to support change initiatives.
  • Performing requirement analysis.
  • Effectively communication of your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users to support change initiatives.
  • Managing multiple, competing
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of completed change initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • An associate degree or related experience preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptional thinking skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data sets.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Ability to research data, identify and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Ability to take initiatives in finding solutions to difficult and/or sensitive problems.
  • Fundamental and conceptional thinking skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement techniques and strategies.
  • Ability to organize work efficiently to meet established time and quality standards.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities/projects.
  • Ability to effectively navigate ambiguous situations with limited direction.
  • Good business acumen and political

  • Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills.
