Accounts Receivable
Accounts Receivable positions available. Responsible for general administrative duties and accounts receivable for all assigned properties as well as some day to day accounting. Prepare and process payments and collections for assigned properties and associations within the limits of established policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Post payments from bank lockbox to owner accounts, process all incoming owner payments. Process all incoming checks to owner accounts and deposit into the association bank account.
Work with banking institutions to establish and/or maintain association bank accounts.
Responsible for posting assessments, fines and miscellaneous checks to homeowner’s accounts
Assist both internal and external clients with questions or problems associated with statements, payments, invoices, checks, reserve transfers, and cash balances.
Identify, investigate, resolve and/or report on discrepancies for homeowners and clients.
Assess late charges and/or late interest. Research, identify, and analyze discrepancies.
Prepare and/or order annual, semi-annual, quarterly and monthly billing statements to homeowners or vendors.
Prepare additional financial reports requested by the Client or Property Manager to be included in the Financial Package or provided to the Property Manager and/or BOD.
Provide assistance and guidance to Property Management by answering questions regarding accounts receivable and other related matters.
Operate within GAAP and Coastal Property Management Accounting guidelines
Assisting Management and Controller as needed.
Assist and support other accounting and/or administrative duties as assigned or as needed.
Education & Experience
Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills Intermediate MS Word skills, Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, Organized and excellent multitasking skills, High volume data entry experience required, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Positive attitude and team player a must!
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable procedures preferred but not required.
Minimum of two years of experience required. Property Management industry experienced preferred but not required.
