Summary: The Branch Manager will create a high level of customer service and sales behaviors in the branch team in order grow deposit base, increase market share and profitability. Develop the branch sales and marketing plan. Coach and lead the branch team to success in meeting objectives. Must have ability to meet or exceed established deposit and growth goals, which include both business and consumer clients. Understand and model Coastal’s core values. Deliver expert customer service to assist our customers in meeting their financial goals. Must be able to provide knowledgeable value back to the business sector of the designated market and able to guide businesses through financials, business cycles and make recommendations for each individual business.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

• Create a high level of service and sales behaviors in the branch to grow deposits, increase market and profitability.

• Develop the branch sales and marketing plan.

• Build relationships with new customers.

• Deepen and maintain relationships with existing customer.

• Maintain an organized system for tracking and follow up on customer needs.

• Generate new business to grow customer and deposit base.

• Facilitate an environment of teamwork, motivate, coach and mentor Branch staff.

• Represent the Bank within the community through customer relations and community involvement.

• May participate in interviewing, hiring and training new staff. Design, plan and assign workflows.

• Directly manage other staff on a daily basis and delegate duties as needed.

• Represent Coastal at all times in a positive and professional manner.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership skills with strong analytical, advanced credit knowledge and able to prepare budgeting for the branch.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.

• Have an ability to solve complex problems with minimal guidance.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects while adhering to strict timelines.

• Ability to effectively and successfully present information in a public setting or to Sr. management, customers and/or staff.

• Will have the ability to meet or exceed established deposit and growth goals across all types of customers.

Education and Work Experience:

•Preferred Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

•Required experience of 5 years in a financial or professional setting.

•Preferred prior experience supervising a sales team.
