We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to support our Sales team.

Position Summary

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will serve as the first line of communication with new customer prospects and will be tasked with finding and screening potential customers who can benefit from Coalfire’s products and services. Ideal SDRs should have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching and qualifying leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales Business Development Representatives or Client Development Directors up for success. Must be a quick learner with strong communication skills, and have the ability to showcase Coalfire solutions in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

What You'll Do

  • Represent Coalfire’s solutions and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
  • Generate or progress leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
  • Proactively contact engaged customer prospects in an effort to expedite the qualified lead process
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales leadership for next steps
  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
  • Utilize SalesForce, warm calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate solutions/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales goals
  • 1-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets preferred
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Self starter with a strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
  • Salesforce or similar CRM experience
  • Interpersonal communication skills

At Coalfire, equal opportunity and pay equity is integral to the way we do business. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role is $40,000 to $69,000 based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
