We're looking for our first Growth Product Manager to drive that core viral loop, from onboarding to activation to referral. As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll lead our Growth Squad in building products like simple onboarding flows, an intuitive content experience, and straightforward ways of getting your friends onboard – all with the goal of making it easy to use Co–Star with your friends. 

You’ll help tens of millions of people connect to each other and themselves – through astrology – in real, meaningful ways. This is a full-time position, reporting directly to our CEO. 

What you'll do

• Partner with our CEO to define the product roadmap for growth products
• Collaborate daily with engineering, design, content, and data science to build intuitive and compelling features and products
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research in partnership with our design and research teams
• Develop hypotheses with core product teams and build features that drive adoption of current and new products
• Build out the adoption, onboarding, and retention ecosystems to make sure all new products work well together and are cohesive experiences
• Analyze product funnels, gain practical insights, and deliver value to users on an ongoing basis
• Translate complex and ambiguous business problems into clear product strategies and roadmaps, while managing prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience and time-to market 

What you'll bring

• 8 years of work experience increasing audiences on different consumer-facing products, with a successful track record of working on growth products
• 6 years of experience in a product management role 
• An understanding of how and when to leverage common frameworks or funnel analysis, and when to innovate 
• Demonstrated ability solving problems using first principles thinking 
• Consistent record of agile experimentation, launching lightweight tests, and working with cross-functional teams
• Deep empathy and a keen eye for social/cultural trends 
• Comfort in both the nitty gritty details of managing A/B tests (bonus points for SQL), along with the capacity to imagine and execute the long term vision of social products at Co–Star
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly around explaining technical concepts to a broad audience
• Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively simplify and communicate them to a non-technical audience
