The CNH Industrial Digital Customer Success team is looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer! We build and seamlessly integrate technologies that help feed the world. You will join a diverse team of people who are passionate about developing new technologies and services for our customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining monitoring and reporting tools. This includes development and delivery of the backend pieces for web-based applications, dashboards, integration across multiple tools and interaction with multiple data sources.

Responsibilities

• Experience in a professional software development team building scalable, distributed systems
• Knowledge of common web services principles (HTTP, SSL, REST)
• Strong in one or more languages (Python/Golang/Javascript)
• Strong background in developing applications for Azure Cloud
• Familiarity with full-stack development
• Understanding of distributed systems and multi-threaded programming concepts
• Understanding of security concepts and app-to-app authentication schemes
• Ability to manage work to tight timelines and handle the pressure of late requests
• Experience working on all phases of the development lifecycle, including continuous integration, testing, deployment, and refactoring
• Ability to work on multi-faceted, cross-functional projects
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams located in different geographies

Position Pays $91,300 to $132,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field / equivalent experience2 years of experience leading product support functions and projects.
• 5 years of experience in a similar development role
• Demonstrated experience in developing applications on Python, Java, .Net
• Knowledge of enabling Application insights by instrumenting the webpages, their backend components and the Javascript in the webpages and monitor and direct telemetry data to an App insights dashboard for specific features
• Use Appinsights for tracking user experience – Write custom telemetry for monitoring often used features, page load times, individual apis and load times, service reliability metrics etc
• Experience of using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for site analysis and reporting
• Setup availability and usability web tests and monitoring dashboards

Preferred Qualifications:

• A background which demonstrates familiarity with digital and cloud applications; a bonus would be knowledge of agricultural vehicles, implements and operations.
• Able to demonstrate problem solving skills and analytical skills
• Experience with project management within a waterfall and agile project group
• Experience with aggregating and tracking project related budgets
• Ability to communicate and influence multiple levels within the organization
• Previous experience with embedded display modules and applications (hardware and software) in Off-Road, Commercial Vehicle or Automotive products.
• Strong working knowledge of industry standards and norms, e.g. ISO 25119, ISO 13849, ODX, OTX, SAE J1939, SAE J3061, UDS, KWP2000
• Strong working knowledge of Systems Validation principles and the V product development cycle
• People management and development experience
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Experience in mechatronics systems, construction equipment or agriculture equipment product development.
• Experience in Precision Farming and Machine automation.
• Experience using problem solving tools such as 5 Why / 8 Discipline / 7 Discipline templates
