Title: Utility Vegetation Supervisor
Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily activities of Consulting Utility Foresters (CUFs).
- Act as the intermediary between CNUC personnel, utility personnel, and tree contractors.
- Train, supervise, and audit CUFs.
- Organizes the activities of contractor resources.
- Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work areas.
- Inputs, tracks, and monitors vegetation-related data into WorkStudio.
- Manages productivity, safety, quality of work, and customer satisfaction.
- Conducts field visits for accuracy reporting, crew audits, and customer service-related matters.
- Utilize materials, tools, and equipment at the work site.
- Service truck and equipment. Keep trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion. Report the need for equipment and truck repairs to the supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree or experience in Forestry, Utility Arboriculture, Tree Biology, Environmental Sciences, Natural Resources, Conservation, or related fields or:
- Five or more years of Utility Vegetation Management experience is required as a minimum qualification.
- ISA Certification is a requirement.
- Utility Specialist certification is preferred.
- Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicators License or Knowledge of herbicides and federal, state, and local pesticide regulations preferred.
- A State-issued Driver’s License is required for this job assignment. A clear MVR is also required.
- Ability to interact with customers, government agencies and other stakeholders as required or directed.
- Superior species identification skills and invasive species knowledge, plus knowledge of tree growth rates.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
