PRIMARY FUNCTION:

We are looking for an experienced, engaging, principled individual to take on the challenging key personnel role of Human Resources Generalist II within our People Operations Department at our El Paso, Texas Office.

In this role you will have great influence and impact overseeing all aspects of Human Resources and People Development including the following: recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, training, people development, organizational structure, employer branding, and building a strong team of talent to facilitate our new people operations department.

Human Resources Generalist II will work directly with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer to implement and refine people practices and processes on behalf of the Company. They serve as the go-to-person for all employee-related issues, and work in direct coordination with the leadership team to inspire our talent and build upon the Company’s strong history, established rules, and new policies. Cooperation in the first year is essential to learn the desires of the Company’s shareholders and the vision they have for the future of the Company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate all day-to-day people operation activities
  • Provide full cycle recruiting support to the organization
  • Coordinate all on-boarding and off-boarding activities
  • Review and update employee handbook and job descriptions quarterly
  • Work with leadership to recommend and implement changes as appropriate
  • Consult with employees and managers to address root causes of issues
  • Resolve issues through a systematic and analytical approach with proven results
  • Administer employee benefits, including open enrollment and communication
  • Interface with Texas Workforce Solutions to maintain records required for compliance
  • Function as the primary point of contact for all people-related questions or concerns
  • Work on behalf of Shareholders to align company objectives with employee management
  • Coordinate quarterly appreciation activities for all company-wide special events
  • Administer the internal employee recognition and incentive programs
  • Guide and lead team members, play a leadership role in coaching and mentoring
  • Make sure agreed levels of effective service are delivered and executed with detailed efficiency
  • Ensure consistent discipline practices and legal compliance on the execution of policies
  • Identify any compensation issues and recommend effective and appropriate solutions
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and employment laws
  • Identify problems central to business strategy and forecast potential obstacles to success
  • Analyze workforce-planning data and forecast staffing needs
  • Participate in special projects as needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • PHR/SPHR or Similar Certifications Preferred
  • Five (5) Years of Experience in Human Resources Role
  • Position requires the highest level of confidentiality and trust
  • Must have the ability to work effectively with peers and managers
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is also necessary
  • This position has direct supervisory responsibilities over team members
  • Hardworking, self-motivated individuals encouraged to apply
  • Capable of leading and training new department team members
  • Experience with iPad/iPhone, social media, and software in general
  • Bilingual English-Spanish verbal and written is preferable

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Driver’s License (mandatory)
  • Others as may be applicable
