CM Biomass US is Hiring a Loader Operator Near Gallant, AL

Loader Operator

This night shift position is responsible for ensuring that all incoming fiber is properly received, recorded, tested for quality and compliance, and off loaded safely. Responsible for maintaining feed to the pellet manufacturing process and attending to the associated conveying and separation equipment.

Essential Duties:

Assists in unloading of all incoming fiber trucks using heavy equipment.

Monitors unloading trucks for correct wood type.

Ensures that incoming loads are properly weighed and documented.

Monitors all incoming loads for compliance with quality specifications, pulling samples for required testing.

Helps to keep the scale clear and documents weights and measurements.

Responsible for verification of proper wood type and moisture levels.

Ensures the pellet manufacturing process is kept adequately fed with the prescribed mixture of fiber using a front end loader.

Clears the reject/rock bin screener several times per day.

Conduct preventative maintenance of equipment, including grease bearing and other maintenance as assigned.

Functions as maintenance technician during periods of maintenance downtime.

Uses a forklift, front end loader, and material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.

Adheres to company safety policies and OSHA standards.

Maintains a safe, neat, orderly accident free work environment, including all outside work areas, aisles, trucks, etc.
