Description
SUMMARY
Reporting to maintenance leadership, the Maintenance Planner will oversee and coordinate all repairs, replacements, and modifications of processing, packaging and facility equipment with optimal quality and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain a safe working environment.
· Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) administrator, responsible for accurate data entry as well as data integrity.
· Develop and generate reports for maintenance KPI’s including budget reports, labor tracking, and compliance reporting (work order completion %, pm compliance %, etc.).
· Communicate work order progress to key operations stakeholder’s and set work order priority based on the need communicated.
· Purchasing and inventory control responsibilities. Purchase and receive spare parts, issue purchase orders for outside services and create spare part min/max levels to ensure critical spare parts are in stock as needed. Maintain a clean and organized parts room.
· Plan and schedule maintenance work orders with staff and outside contractors.
· Adjust pm frequencies based on historical data analyzed through use of the CMMS.
· Contribute to maintenance meetings by delivering KPI’s to maintenance team and leadership.
· Maintenance department payroll manager.
· Maintain parts and service manuals for equipment.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of 2 years in an administrative role. Parts inventory control is a plus.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make decisions (data driven mindset).
· Strong organizational skills.
· Effective communicator with the ability to communicate with leadership and colleagues alike.
· Interested in continuous improvement within the company, department, and as an individual contributor.
· Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
· Must be able to type 50wpm.
