Assistant Housekeeping Manager Reports to: Directly to the Housekeeping Manager Responsible: For the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department. Work Hours: As is typical to the hospitality industry, staffrequire the flexibility to work a range of shift times (morning, afternoon,evening) and days of the week (7 days) Pay Type: Salary SpecificDuties - Responsibilities include:· Communication with Housekeeping Manager and/orHM regarding daily HSKP tasks· Upholding hotel cleanliness standards withoutsourced labor provider· Scheduling of employees, ensuring adequate staffavailable through outsourced labor provider· Making recommendations and participating indecision-making · Acting as Department Head when the HousekeepingManager is not on site· Liaising with other departments re: Housekeepingneeds and requirements· Laundry transactions, include billing andinventory· Logging found items in Lost & Found Log· Ordering items and processing invoices (ifassigned)· Opening and closing of Housekeeping,specifically ensuring outsourced labor provider is achieving agreed upon workload/room assignments· Payroll processing· Room inspections· Inspection of public places to determinecleaning schedule· Attending daily, weekly and other leadershipmeeting as directed· Other duties as assigned
