Cloud 9 Sleep Center is looking for a reliable, self motivated person to join our team. We currently have a part-time opening for a medical billing specialist to join our team. This position requires someone with a passion for medical billing and coding and experience with ICD-10 coding, and CPT language. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, and will be able to efficiently process of charts that we receive on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing,reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software,including electronic and paper claim processing.
• Following up on unpaid claims withing billing cycle time frame.
• Researching and appealing denied claims
• Answering all patient or insurance telephone inquiries.
• Verifying each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract.
• Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments. Identifying billing secondary or tertiary insurances.
