This opportunity is an in-office role with a salary range of $60K to $75K

RESPONSIBILITIES:

PAYROLL

• Manage payroll - e.g. set up employee deductions, liabilities
• Manage payroll tax
• Cover payroll processing when required
• 401K management
• Manage company compliance with state and federal labor laws – yearly posting updates

BANKING

• Banking/Deposits
• Banking reconciliation – Business account/Joint account
• Handle returned checks and issue stop payments if necessary
• Order checks/deposit tickets

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

• Supervise our departments to ensure timely collections
• Provide collections support when needed

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

• Review all Accounts Payables for cost controls
• Oversee credit card reconciliations
• Oversee supplier material accounts
• Process payments to suppliers and vendors
• Ensure that workers compensation payroll reports are accurate

SAFETY

• Train on and be familiar with safety program

ACCOUNTING/DISPATCH SOFTWARE

• Train on Succcessware (FSM) or other Field Service Management Software
• Manage all accounting issues within Successware
• Assure all transactions are properly posted in chart of accounts within Successware
• Complete Qmerit financial requests and audits
• Collaborate directly with the Qmerit team and CFO
• Create Qmerit monthly cash flow reports and other required monthly financial reporting
• Work with Qmerit leadership team and Clinton Electric Co. Management Team for budgeting and planning

MISC. CLERICAL/ MANAGEMENT

• Ensure accuracy of paychecks and W-2’s sent from payroll system
• Prepare monthly sales tax reports
• Maintain sub-contractor documentation and Prepare 1099’s
• Manage all State and Federal Tax correspondence
• Assist with IT, Credit Card Processing, Check scanning and FSM software as updates are made.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university preferred
• 5 years of accounting and/or Bookkeeping experience min.
• Extensive Excel experience required, and Microsoft Office Suite skills preferred
• Ability to appropriately prioritize projects and tasks
• Detail-oriented and conscientious
• Good inter-personal communication skills and collaborative team player
• Construction industry experience is preferred (but not required)
