An exciting new opportunity for a Nurse Director Emergency Service Line is now available with an esteemed acute care hospital in the DMV area. The Nurse Director Emergency Service Line will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will oversee this busy Emergency Department that cares for over 70,000 patients per year.
The Emergency Nurse Director will have the support of multiple Clinical Emergency Nurse Managers. The Nurse Director Emergency will oversee an Emergency Department that cares for adult, pediatric, and psychiatric patient populations. This ED is also a primary stroke and cardiac center.
The Nurse Director Emergency will join a large nonprofit acute care hospital system that has received awards for their clinical outcomes. This hospital is very community oriented and focused on selecting new employees that embody the values of their company culture.
The Nurse Director Emergency Service Line will work with an interdisciplinary team of hospital Department Directors and Executive Hospital Leadership to achieve hospital and department goals. The Emergency Nurse Director will have their Master’s Degree, strong Emergency Nursing background, and strong Emergency Department nurse leadership experience in a similar size setting.
