WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

We are seeking a talented manager to play a major role in the continued success and growth of our business through supporting data-driven decision making. The Business Intelligence Manager will provide analytical insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders by democratizing data using business intelligence solutions within the Microsoft technology stack (PowerBI).

This role will own responsibility of the Business Intelligence function at ClickDimensions, working collaboratively and cross-functionally with stakeholders, solving challenging problems, and having the latitude to come up with creative solutions.

“Day in the Life” 

• Serve as dashboard and report building expert; designing, developing, and testing BI solutions that involve databases, data warehouses, ETLs, SQL queries, reports, and dashboards
• Evaluate current BI processes and make recommendations to drive efficiencies and improve performance
• Build new processes and tools to identify and monitor significant metrics for stakeholder groups

• Manage and improve end-user report UX, including tables, charts, and other visualizations to support decision-making across each business function 
• Employ best-practice to maintain consistent and reliable operations in managed Business Intelligence data models, datasets, and related resources
• Enable stakeholder groups to leverage data analytics tools and reporting building
• Stay current on best practices in the field to continually grow your skillset
• Execute special projects as assigned, working closely with stakeholders to develop data structures as needed for reporting

• Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design, and maintenance
• Other duties as assigned by leadership

WHAT YOU BRING TO CLICKDIMENSIONS 

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with PowerBI reporting and related concepts
• 5 years’ experience in a report development, data science, business analytics, business intelligence or similar role
• 5 years of experience with SQL queries DAX formulas and expressions
• Demonstrated ability to produce business intelligence solutions that enable business capabilities

• Ability to convey complicated or technical information in a simple way to non-technical audiences
• Exceptional critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability, business acumen
• Excellent communication skills with internal users and executive leadership
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study strongly preferred

NICE TO HAVE 

• Microsoft Azure services/platform knowledge and experience

• Experience in a software/technology organization
• Familiarity with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) concepts
• Experience with ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes
• Experience with enterprise integration tools (e.g., SQL Server Integration Services, TIBCO Scribe, Kingswaysoft, CRM and ERP integrations)
