Overview

As a Talent Engagement Specialist, you will partner closely with the global Talent team on projects, new initiatives, presentations, and communications. This position reports to the Global Senior Manager of Talent & Well-Being and supports the Chief Talent Officer and the regional and global Talent/HR teams. Responsibilities include managing a variety of ongoing projects, preparing data and materials, proposing and launching new efforts, and benchmarking talent & engagement strategies within and beyond the legal industry.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with the entire Talent/HR Organization to understand global and local business needs and objectives.
• Helps to implement processes and projects to achieve Firm goals, particularly those around engagement, retention, well-being, and a shared employee experience across Cleary offices.
• Leads and contributes to the proactive review and implementation of current talent practices, processes, organization, and coordination.
• Regularly reviews and streamlines processes to achieve efficiencies, and actively develops ways to improve global Talent communications, project workflow, collaboration, and accountability.
• Leads projects and market research as needed to develop and maintain insight into competitors and competitive trends; routinely researches emerging Talent trends in legal field.
• Works directly with a variety of stakeholders across global offices and prepares and leads presentations and summaries.
• Responds to data, research, and presentation requests as needed.
• Projects and topics in this role to potential include (but are not limited to): engagement surveys, annual review processes, efforts around flexible and hybrid work, associate coaching, well-being initiatives, global talent communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5 years of experience working in Talent Management and/or HR at a professional services organization or law firm
• Experience with project management and independently leading project work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfort with presenting to a variety of audiences
• Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience generating insights from analysis of multiple inputs and sources
• Strong problem solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze information
• Strong attention to detail
• A self-starter approach, with an enthusiastic team spirit and strong collaboration skills
• Highly responsive to stakeholder needs
• Ability to interface with all levels of employees within the organization
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, use initiative and judgment to accomplish timely results, and work under tight deadlines
• Interest in well-being, engagement, and strengthening the employee experience
