Function: The Laborer should assist in theinstallation of electrical equipment in accordance with all applicable plans,specifications, codes and industry standards.
Responsibilities:

·Understandand follow instructions surrounding installing basic electrical equipment.

·SupportJourneymen, Electricians, Foreman etc. as needed.

·Be able to identify safety risks and use the rightprecautions to eliminate the risks

·Timelyresponse to projects and repair to minimize downtime for equipment and projectdeadlines.

·Abilityto use hand tools and power tools.

·Safely ascend and descend ladders.

·Maintaina clean and safe worksite.

·Performsspecific job functions as they relate to work orders

·Assistelectrician with hand digging

·Carrymaterials including sand and other heavy materials

·Assistin pulling wire

·Trenchfinalization using pitch ax and shovel

·Rakingout and shoveling sand

WorkEnvironment:

·Mustbe able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting,standing, walking, and driving.

·Mustbe able to lift 50lbs while using proper lifting techniques, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate,grasp, reach out and above shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.

·Mustendure regular exposure to all weather conditions, including hot, cold, humid,and rainy during all seasons throughout the year.

·Maybe exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites ofprojects being managed or coordinated.

·Mustwear proper Personal Protective Equipment as required by work tasks, such assafety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, steel toe/composite toeboots and high visible vest when working on-site.

Qualifications Required

·HighschoolDiploma or GED

·Colorvision and the ability to recognize different colored wires

·Possessan understanding of general time management, accountability, and prioritizationskills. 

·Standardverbal and written communication skills, as well as a reasonable level ofinterpersonal skills. 

·CriticalThinking, Time Management, Accountability, and Prioritization skills. 

·Self-motivated,goal-oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals. 

·Abilityto be organized, problem solve, and be solution oriented. 

·Theability to work in a fast paced environment.

·Excellentdecision making skills.

·DetailOriented- a high level of attention to detail is required.

·Must have a clean valid driver license.

·Pass a pre-employment criminal background check, drivingrecord check and drug screen.
