JOB SUMMARY: CRC is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO/SSO) responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring clients security requirements are met at Patrick AFB, FL. 

The successful candidate will interface with all levels of CRC personnel and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manual 5205.07, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) and Program Classification Guides. The FSO must possess the confidence to make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and to implement security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or information. The FSO will also serve as associate CSSO/CPSO.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as a FSO Personnel Security Officer SSO providing direct support to the Government Program Security Officer (PSO)

As the FSO/SSO, she/he will provide support for program security and execution of all security policies and requirements for specified SAP programs, compartments, sub-compartments, and projects

The FSO/SSO will facilitate visitor requests, badging, security access status checks, and campus gate access, supporting program and government meetings and,

• Commitment to security - creating and delivering the highest value to customers
• Be able to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations
• Provide clear guidance to company employees, and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate
• Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance as well as the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards including SAP programs
• Experience serving as CSSO/CPSO
• Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements to include collateral Closed Areas and ICD 705 to meet contractual needs
• Thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, eQIP, eFCL and ISFD
• Administer day-to-day security programs:personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc.
• Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate
• Ability to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program
• Strong communications skills, both oral and written

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph
• An active and current government clearance is required to be considered for this work.
• At least 5 years of experience with government security databases (e.g., JADE, Scattered Castles, DISS);
• Training and experience working with SAPs highly desired
• Completion of instructor led Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) Introduction to Special Access Programs Course (SA101.01) is highly desired
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) highly desired.
• Experience performing GSSO or CPSO functions for government and Contractor customers
• Completion of prerequisites for access to JPAS (PII course); Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) highly desired
