Clean Harbors is Hiring a Supply Chain Analyst Near Norwell, MA

Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst, internally known as an Asset Manager, is responsible for the overall lifecycle management of bulk lubricant containers utilized in Clean Harbors operations throughout North America. The position will have a focus on asset management and inventory management for our network of Lube Oil Tanks. These containers are shipped to customer locations and used to store our company supplied bulk lubricants. Other responsibilities include; asset acquisition and justification, asset deployment, logistics, asset utilization, designing and adhering to preventative maintenance schedules, coordinate tank refurbishment and final asset disposition or disposal at the end of the lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Manage utilization of all containers to ensure that no assets are sitting for long periods of time with inactivity;
  • Train and assist branches, distribution centers, and packaging plants with each step of Lube Oil Tank management;
  • Facilitate the disposal process for end-of-life containers;
  • Ensure compliance with inventory management practices to ensure that all volume is tracked properly;
  • Audit contract volume commitments to ensure customers are meeting minimum quantity requirements.
  • Develop quality standards for used Lube Oil tanks.
  • Assist with parts acquisition and technical troubleshooting.
  • Keeps inventory pools balanced, allowing for efficient tank distribution.
  • Work closely with IT to develop, build, and test new supply chain applications to support the Lube Oil Tanks
  • Meet with various levels of management to identify and strategically solve problems that may arise in the supply chain

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • 3 years of Supply Chain or Business Analytics experience required;
  • Creative problem solver
  • Intellectual curious
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain preferred;
  • Previous experience in inventory or supply chain ideal;
  • Previous experience in an industrial facility or environment preferred;
  • Solid project management skills to effectively manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment preferred;
  • Experienced with computerized maintenance systems for asset management preferred;
  • Advanced knowledge of entire MS Office Suite required.
  • Experience with Pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s in MS Excel required.
  • SQL experience preferred;
  • PowerBi experience preferred;
  • APICS certification preferred;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written;
  • Ability to travel roughly 10% throughout North America as required;
